As Gowerton Guesthouse is positioned right on the edge of the sea, there are superb views over the of the bay and you can often see seals and dolphins playing from the bedroom windows.

The dining room at Gowerton Guest House, St. Ives

There is a nice homely atmosphere with excellent full English breakfasts. Private parking is also available. We are a non-smoking guesthouse and are open all year round. Gowerton Guesthouse is located right on the sea front at St Ives

St. Ives is renowned for its artists and the amazing Tate Gallery of St. Ives is only five minutes walk away. The town museum is even closer and there is also the important Barbara Hepworth Memorial Museum.

The quaint narrow town streets hide a treasure trove of fascinating little shops, galleries, arcades and wide range of restaurants. The harbour has colourful little fishing boats and the usual attractions of water sports and beach pursuits. This is one of the warmest spots in Britain and the clean beaches will always have great appeal.

The climate encourages beautiful gardens with many exotic blooms; both public and private gardens are well worth a closer look.

St. Ives is located about half way between the Eden project and Lands End; just two of the major attractions of the beautiful holiday county of Cornwall; which is resplendent with pretty coves, sunny beaches and glorious views.
